Arriving in Spain in Leon and after crossing the vast Meseta plateau on foot, it was logical for me to turn towards Asturias to cross part of the Cantabrian mountain range. As the ancient pilgrims said: "he who goes to Santiago without going to greet the Holy Savior (in Oviedo), visits the servant and abandons the Lord".

 THE STEPS FROM LEON TO OVIEDO 5 DAYS OF WALKING / APPROXIMATELY 120 KILOMETERS

1-  Léon - La Robla 

Province de Léon, 28 km.

2-  La Robla - Buiza 

Province de Léon, 15 km. 

​

3-  Buiza - Pajares

Province des Asturies, 22 km. 

​

4-  Pajares - Pola de Lena

Province des Asturies, 23 km.

​

5-  Pola de Lena - Oviedo

Province des Asturies, 32 km.

​
